My take on recent financing ....
the company is drilling another duster , so rather then wait (for the results) and finance at much lower prices management decided to rush a financing now, so that they can drill another target as soon as possible .They are desperate to save face and show the market they have something of value and not just potential.

Perhaps Dr. B opted to throw a bone to those shareholders who had almost a million warrants expire last month and this month? Get them back on board before results from the largest drill campaign in their history. Interesting things on Sedar if one bothers to look...
