ATK as an M&A candidate

ATK as an M&A candidateIn my opinion is not very viable...  viable and Buyable candidates have ONE thing going for them UPSIDE. It has been sometime since I checked on the ATK's upside (UPSIDE in general terms can be defined as the amount of undeveloped resources a company holds, it can be measured by reserve report, potential drilling inventory, etc.).

Ryland had ONE thing going for it... a sizeable and contiguous landbase in a compelling play. ATK has ONE thing in common with Ryland very little cash to drill. With little production and small disjointed land base ATK won't soon have many suitors... and those that might be interested...won't be interested in paying much more than the current market value...

It's my opinion git yer own... and as manner of disclosure... I hold no stock... BUT have been considering a buy in based on potential drilling success... after all at 6 cents... it only takes a 2 cent bump to make 30% unrealized gain...
