RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I'm homeApple is not a manufacturer ... they own rights to their product and contract out ALL manufacturing .... why?? because manufacturing is a largley commoditized process and is NOT where the value creation is.....We could buy out , or build our own, FDA approved facility likely for a few million dollars, but IMO this would add little value and restrict or location of manufacture and limit redundancy.....and the ROI of that investment would be miniscule compared to investing the same in sales network expansion... There are many FDA plants operating at less then full capacity that we can utilize in low cost jurisdictions... Some of these plants have ties to proprietary products and some are purely contract manufacturers...As I understand it we have manufacturing and marketing rights, and plants available, FDA and HC approved, and committied to fulling our custom manufacturing orders...
