RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What is holding the SP back?If you read the news release it says “Acceleware completed a multi-faceted partner selection process in which several major, mid-size and smaller operator candidates were assessed.” This was consistant with what I was told also and what I said on a previous post. Not sure I would characterize that as “banging down their door” but unless you are saying you know that they are lying there was good interest in participating in the project and ACCELEWARE CHOSE Prosper for the reasons I believe may be as follows:
- Greenfield with no potential influence fron nearby steam injection that could potentially affect the data. The site is remote which has challenges but good as there is no proximal steam injection.
- Recent approval gives them immediate access
- Alignment of strategic goals
- Have to give up very little ($ or ownership interest). Only a prefered rate for Prospers small Rigel project.
- Get the engineering support they need to execute the commercial scale test
The limit to goggles’ contribution is his interpretation of google earth. Obviously the commercial scale test is everything and the needed extra $ is a concern in the mean-time.
