RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Link to the actual CBC news site....Firstly Malton1 that satirical joke isn't funny when it insinuates that an entire province is full of white supremacists that's like saying all coloured people like chicken (untrue, insulting and not funny isnt it). Secondly everyone knows (even you I assume) that the "federal government political elites cater to Ontario and Quebec because thats where the votes are and Western Canada is only paid attention to when its convenient. Lets take climate change as an example (there are many). The federal government continues to symbolically sacrifice the western Canadian oil industry in the name of a green energy transition even though everyone with 2 brain cells knows that the transition will take decades and western Canada can produce it better than dictatorships countries that dont care about the environment. Quebec wont let western Canada ship oil through their province but are Ok with receiving oil from Russia and Saudi Arabia. Now surprise surprise Russia is using energy as a weapon and Canada isnt in a position to bring on more production because of the cooling effect of the federal government to oil and gas production that the world needs in lieu of unreliable and insufficient wind and solar power. Yet Ontario and Quebec keep voting for these ideological political elites. I am not demonizing the entire population of Ontario and Quebec and I know a lot of folks there get it but on the same token on mass the electorate keep putting the same people in power. So from that regards if the shoe fits, wear it.
