RE: RE: Update from Azteca

RE: RE: Update from AztecaThe exchange halted the stock for pending news release, which they thought to be imminent. Stocks are usually not halted for technical reviews.

The above is the only thing in underdogs email post that seems odd, (other than some of the language) in that it has never been mentioned that way in any calls to AZG. Is the email legit or not who cares, it doesn't say much other than what has been stated before that the halt is not going to end with a serious blow to AZG, and that an imminent update is expected shortly after the halt. Also, add AZG has stated they have had news ready for release for a couple plus weeks which is not being allowed to go public. Would be quite difficult to understand the halt ending and dead silence from the company as to it's current exploration status, including assays that are now back and ready for release.

The ultimate judgement should be made once the halt ends and how AZG handles it immediately thereafter. No update, and allowing AZG to trade after a 5 plus week halt and no positive updates when many positives have been implied would be hard to understand. If for some very strange reason the above is true and the exchange halted AZG due to "imminent news release" then that would simply imply something of significance, but hard to believe since it doesn't make much sense to halt a stock because you believe they are going to release news, only when they actually have released news for approval by the exchange.

Regardless this is a mess because no one really knows what the present status is specifically and way way to much room to let the imagination run wild, thats to bad as folks can conjure up all kinds of positive and negative scenarios with the limited info known. If AZG had a major discovery and the exchange wanted to confirm past assays and new assays because the numbers were so extreme, that could add to a lengthy halt for those checks to be done first and insure the exchange covers itself in case of another Bre-x scandle. (Third party assays were done for hole 005a to confirm those grades during the halt.) But if so and all confirmed then it only adds more credibility to AZG's discovery as the exchange will have confirmed all it's findings to insure legitimacy. That's another scenario easily conjured up but with no public acknowledgement to support this yea or nay. Anything can be deduced from this halt if you try hard enough.
