from another board, any comments on these comments...?

Again, best to think of this as two sections, one a pair of high gradechimneys in the middle and two a surrounding blanket of lower gradegold. One reason estimates were too high is the assumption that thechimneys are in fact larger than they actually are. Another reason issimply the topography of central Miwah — if you look at a photo, you seeit is basically a knob that sticks out of the ground at it is around800 meters across. So anybody using 1200 meters for the east-westdimension was already starting out on the wrong foot. Now, this doesn’tmean that the deposit itself doesn’t extend beyond the knob, itcertainly does, but it is indeed the case that most of the resource islocated within that very knob. On the positive side, it would bedifficult to argue that the strip ratio or mining of those 3 millionounces will not be relatively easy — no pit really, just blast the thingand let gravity do the rest.

any comments from the smarties here!!!
