5,000 police to secure Aceh Governor inauguration

Aceh Police chief Insp. Gen. Iskandar Hasan will deploy 5,000 police personnel to secure the inauguration of Aceh's newly-elected governor, Zaini Abdullah, along with running mate Muzakir Manaf, on June 25.
The personnel will be stationed at key locations, including the inauguration stage and the inauguration building.
They will also be placed around the city to ensure the steady flow of traffic.
Iskandar says that the inauguration process might begin around 2:00 p.m.
"We hope it will be successful, which is why we're sending a number of personnel to airports, hotels, and road intersections, as well as the inauguration building, to secure the process," Iskandar said on Wednesday, as quoted by tribunnews.com.(png/iwa)
