RE:RE:well i spent a few hours readingIll chime in, if I may, and with the understanding that my knowledge isnt perfect or near perfect but was the reason for me to make a small investment in BBI. @ 0.35.
The area is dotted with wells from what I see on the company website maps. There are hundreds if not thousands of wells drilled in the larger Peace Country Region of BC and Alberta. There is brisk oil and gas drilling and operations all around in the Peace Country region. Busy around ValleyView, Fox Creek, Grande Prairie, Wembley as well which looks to be only 4 kms from BBI initial well.

I couldn’t link it so copy paste the LSD using this link and it will display a Google map of the location.
I’ve been told by a good source that the Montney structure is well understood. During drilling operations usually there is a geologist on location during both the vertical and horizontal portions of the well. The geologist analyses the samples of earth or "cuttings" that come to surface from the zones that have been drilled through.
Lastly I found out that some pieces of land are overlooked by bigger players if it doesn’t meet their minimum requirements. It falls just outside of their risk tolerance and they pass on it. This ends up leaving sometimes good places to set up for juniors who are willing to assume more risk and explains to me why you see big players dotted around the BBI piece of property.
Cheers!
