For what it’s worthBeen an investor with BBI for over 2 years, both with shares and warrants. The influx of stability that this merger has brought on seems to be a positive, still wondering how we will be compensated for our investment in Stage. Seems that it wasn’t enough to impress Pipestone to the point they will continue its use.
I also was dreaming the dream that Garth had spun for us, but it’s time to grow up as an investor. I think that this may be good thing, it is certainly a more secure investment now, but part of what brought me here was buying into the fairy tail was Garth’s story. As with most investors, I’m sure it is wearing thinner as months go by.
I was hoping, like most of those on this board to be able to sell my shares at a 3x profit by the end of last year, but not to be. Then, I was hoping this halt was going to be a buyout by either Encana, 7 Gen, or Nuvista. But then common sense kicked in, saying that with the way the Canadian gas producers have been taking a beating, it’s not likely.
Plain and simple, BBI was running out of money doing whatever they could to prove their reserves. Which they did. The only way to go further was to borrow at an extreme cost. Not what I wanted to hear, but that’s the reality right now.
We have always prime lands, we have had a prime representative to get access to these lands, now this merger gives us the expertise to develop the resources that we own
Although I’m disappointed that this isn’t cash out time. I think this is in the best interest for the company, and I will vote yes, and hold my shares hoping for a later payday
