Is Nuvista coming for Pipestone?Last week a friend shared some personalized banker notes from Calgary indicating Nuvista was openly pursuing an acquisition whether it was "listed for sale or not." Heard from a really good source yesterday confirming Nuvista was looking at an acquisition. Then I checked out Nuvista presentation and saw they are expanding at Gold Creek and delineating. The mystery broker land buyer - a record amount - would adjoin NVA and PIPE acreage at Gold Creek, next to where Pipestone is currently drilling a step out well. Kinda ironic.
CNRL appears very active in the viscinity. Have to wonder if NVA or CNRL are the land buyer?
Hope we hear something soon.
