RE:RE:RE:Weird Sinopec activitymy guess is the buyer of those sections was paramount, my second guess would be cpg considering the timing of the uptick in sales + sde deal including the final crown section bought last week.

paramount drilled their northern most wapiti well and has untapped acerage in that area. buying those sections would allow them land synergies to connect. 

would be interesting if nuvista and makes the most sense. think it would be an all equity deal? nuvista seemed pretty proud of buying back shares.. can't imagine pipestone selling for less than $5.16 today.

paramount told peters analyst they could gobble up a $2bn acquisition "no problem" and were looking into it. pipestone makes alot of sense.

would be a huge plot twist if it were sinopec!
