I believe delineating and proving out east improves valuation and m and a prospect for Pipestone due to offsetting activity which is increasing.
Yes Paramount deal makes tons of sense to me as they just drilled northern most Wapiti well close to Pipestone with apparently good success (see presentation)
Also take or pay gas plant commitments.
Nuvista CEO is very open about interest in M and A.
Lastly, I dont think Ovintiv is done with Canada. Their nea CEO is Canadian and they are clearly ramping up in the area, particularly Sunrise and Grande Prairie.
