I don't need to ask Dan, I know the answer. Insiders get lots of freebies, they don't have to buy on the open market. Yeah, it would be nice if they did, but their target time line is a lot longer than the majority of retail investors who think they can get rich in a few weeks or a month, so buying a few shares to prop up the share price a tiny bit is pointless. The value built by developing the assets is where the real money is made.

And don't forget they have, at the very minimum, some preliminary well results in hand, so they would be buying with undisclosed material info. And make no mistake, those well results are VERY material.
