Some DD Telus - Bell IIoT etc. I have been digging on Bewhere and its competitiors as well as the overall market potential and why Bell and Geotab would show interest in this start-up. I realized Telus and Voxx International have invested in Rx Networks which is another cloud software company out of BC.
LINK https://rxnetworks.com/about-us/investors/ Discovery Fund Capital out of BC has also invested in Rx Networks and mainly focuses on software and Saas companies as you can see some of their holdings. Just go to funds and you will see their holdings privately and publicly owned companies. So if this fund is recent PP participant that would be nice.
https://bcdiscoveryfund.com/ Anyways, it is good to see that big telecom companies show interest in cloud based companies and especially start ups like Bewhere... May be Bell was looking into something before Telus grabbed.. lol.. I haven't find anything related AT&T connection to Bewhere yet but will dig as someone posted below.. A link from poster would be nice..
Recently QHR.V was taken out by Loblaws/Shoppers by 70PE, Telus was also one of the potential bidders there.. It is always good sign when insiders participate in financings and given the fact that CEO sold his previous company for $50M he may be well in to another adventure with new up and coming IIoT world.
