RE:Competition? Financials? "They have a patent that is pending which covers the way they use the Bluetooth protocol to reliably communicate with the beacons. Bluetooth is notoriously buggy. Whenever you use pairing, you can only have up to 7 devices connected simultaneously, battery life is low, and the connection takes time or packets can drop. I won't go into the details of their patent, but I believe any other competitor would need to do it the same way as they are currently doing it so I'm confident they would need to pay royalties to BeWhere. I could be wrong, but I do have an electrical engineering background and understand the technology pretty well."
