Met with Margaux, VP of Strategy and GrowthI met with Margaux (VP of strategy and growth) yesterday while she was in town to train Bell salespeople. The company has been training Bell sales reps all across Canada this month. There's a post about it on their LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6394667477208428545
Margaux told me that the sales reps were extremely enthusiastic about the product, and couldn't wait to start selling it as they haven't had any new products to sell in years. Telematics really haven't changed much, except the addition of small features.
As per the LinkedIn post, we are told that Bell's LTE-M network will launch soon. That was already obvious by the fact that Bell is having their sales reps trained on BeWhere's LTE-M beacon. In my opinion, I think we are looking at 1-2 months for the network to be up given the fact that sales reps are now being trained.
Furthermore, BeWhere is the only company to have a commercially available product for LTE-M networks. Anyone else looking to enter market would take 1+ year(s) given the development, testing, certification times. Certification alone takes a few months and is usually quite costly -- I've done UL and ETL certification in the past.
