RE:RE:RE:RE:cannabis beveragesHey Charlie,
Point taken, yes, you can buy and consume Cannabis in much cheaper ways than by purchasing the drinks if your goal is to consume CBD or THC on the cheapest per gram basis.
The same can be said for beer (even light beer) vs. hard liqour. However beer still sells... even the light beers
The same can be said for hard liquor vs. rubbing alchole. However hard liquor still sells while you have the option of drinking rubbing alchole and going blind at the same time (people do it.. it's cheap)
If you are a chronic cannabis consumer and looking for the most content for the cheapest price the drinks are not for you, same goes if you are an alcholic you may not be drinking beer
There is a consumer base for the drinks. That is why producers like HEXO with Molson are producing the product. Canopy and Constellation brands see the same potential with Consumers, again, that is why they too are producing drinks (that are getting kicked in the butt by HEXO). If HEXO was not seeing money coming in from their Canadian operation for the drinks then they certainly would not have further expanded the operation into the United States.
In regards to HEXO drinks.. this is not their only product and they are not putting all their eggs in this one basket.
HEXO has the following:
- Cannabis Flower
- Hash (highest THC content on the market)
- Oils (check their Verywell Line)
- Vapes
- Drinks (including coffee)
- Medical cannabis offerings (including the supply agreement with Isreal)
HEXO has talked about (but yet to release)
- Edibles, including the gummies
- Wine
- Other health products and topicals
HEXO drinks are getting more and more attention, I will grant you that, but do not lose sight of all their other products already on the market and the new ones yet to come.
Thanks for posting, looking forward to your reply.
All the best

You're far better off buying a bottle of oil and squirting some into your tea or coffee or mouth, same effect, a lot less expensive and easier to store. Or buy some gummies. Cannabis drinks will probably never represent more than a small percentage of total cannabis sales, Stay away from companies that pitch their future success on cannabis drinks!
