Truss is a separate entity owned in part by a big alcohol company. As for the alcohol and cigarette companies not allowed, I wouldn't be worry. Both have powerful lobbies and it is unlikely to pass. Knowing how corrupted the Democrat are, this is probably to incite the alcohol and cigarette companies to give generously to their party. It would not refrain me to invest in a cannabis company but I would be a fool to do it now.

2 things I don't agree though:
1. Democrats or Republicans, we live in a corrupted world.
2. I said I bought so can't change my mind for now. Lots of indicators are showing a rebound might come soon. Sooner than 2 cad? Maybe? Maybe not, future will tell and I am sleeping well with that investment.

It is not in favor of a stock but what I think is the reality, the way laws are passed in the US. These things will be determined at the state level. There is already a state that doesn't allow a too big concentration of cannabis businesses for the owners and this is for all the owners, but the US is big. If the cannabis was legalised at the fed level, there would be states that would not allow it. Eventually they would but it could take more time for some, and the fact that is is legal at the fed level would incite the states to follow. You can't buy weed with a credit card in the US.
If there is corruption in both parties, the Democrats are by far more corrupted that the Republicans. They are aligned with the globalists getting more and more control over the world. Learn about the soros foundation and his puppet Trudeau. Now there are shooting every week in Montreal since he let's anybody in.
