BlackRock Municipal Income Trust (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from federal income taxes. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 80% of its managed assets in investments the income from which is exempt from federal income tax (except that the interest may be subject to the alternative minimum tax). The Fund may invest directly in securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives. The Fund's investment policies provide that it invests at least 80% of its total assets in investment grade quality municipal obligations issued by or on behalf of states, territories and possessions of the United States and their political subdivisions, agencies or instrumentalities, each of which pays interest that, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes. Its investment adviser is BlackRock Advisors, LLC.

48North shut down the outdoor field (not facility) because of 'excess market supply'.

48North had to resort  to buying product from other growers to make their cosmetics - and the cosmetcis sector is completely over satuated - you can buy cbd cream at any local store - and tehre is no profit margin on a $5 jar of hand cream.

Plain and simple - market demand was not there or what they sold - and they were not, therefore a profitable enterprise.

The question is why tyeh phk would Hexo buy them then?
A little due dilgience - something SSL doesn't dpo - would have saved investors $50 million

It will now be sold for $5 million at best

48 Shut down their outdoor facility and was likely one of the root causes for the company coming so close to going under.  Outdoor growing poses a lot of challenges from inconsistant light and mositure control to crop damage from bugs, storms etc.  For high quality and consistant product the indoor model is proving to be better.
