As we close in on the release of the first holes I have a few thoughts. The Bornite blanket, whatever it is, doesn't belong in the classic porphyry model. It is increasing to the NW. All of the 2023 holes support this notion. They may have figured out that the Leviathan porphyry is to the SW. Holes 23-21 and 23-26 support this notion. Think overlap.
I am not reading anything into bouncing the drills around. They will return to the NW once they have thoroughly analyzed holes 1,2 and 3. They have got a big property to explore. Time is money.
As a rule stay away from the IP, magnetic and conductivity highs. These are usually things that the intrusion is throwing off. You want the mundane rock in between. The IP highs are from the pyrite shell. The potassic core can be magnetic but huge magnetic blobs are usually magnetite skarns being thrown off by the intrusion. Conductivity is usually hydrothermal veins being thrown off by the intrusion. There is a lot of mundane rock to the west of the geophysical highs. That is probably where the porphyry is hiding.
