Coleman..Hosing..Gaming..Mining..Easy to Connect the Dots

Coleman..Hosing..Gaming..Mining..Easy to Connect the DotsWhy can't the NDP connect the dots?

Rich Coleman was B.C.'s housing minister at the time

The contract, which wasn't made public until CBC News obtained the purchase and sale agreement through freedom of information processes, shows that the sale price was $334 million, but only $35 million has been paid by Holborn over the past 13 years.

The B.C. Liberal government that was in power at the time gave Holborn a $211-million interest-free loan on an 18-year term. Interest won't accrue on that loan until Dec. 31, 2026.

Put in $35 million  and get $211 million interest free for 18 years ... I'd take that deal!

This deal appears to me to be TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
Unless someone was "compensated", perhaps Coleman, then how on earth did this deal ever get approved?

==========================

Former solicitor general Rich Coleman

former minister, who was responsible for the gaming file off and on from 2001 to 2013.

Two senior gaming investigators testified they raised concerns dating back to 2009 about increasing amounts of suspicious cash likely linked to organized crime appearing at Vancouver-area casinos.

Coleman told the commission "it was difficult to address money laundering at B.C. casinos directly because there were complex legal issues related to proving whether suspicious cash at casinos was illegal money."

Being that Coleman only graduated from high school, never attended university, let alone law school .... yes I would expect any legal issue to be complicated for him .... basically uneducated, how did he become Solicitor General?

----------------------------------------

From what I have read, Coleman also played a role in the Clerk of the legislature Craig James compenstion fiasco.

----------------------------------

Rich Coleman was the Minister of Mines when we were turned down
-BC lost out on hundreds of million in mineral tax revenue
-Millions given to LBN for LNG.

The denial of the Morrison mine permit makes as much sense as the housing project and money laundering.
