RE:Will we finally receive the permit: WHY and WHY NOT?

RE:Will we finally receive the permit: WHY and WHY NOT?Great summary Salmon.

LBN are against issuance of the EAC primarily because of the
potential damage to salmon stocks. Much of this opposition
seems to arise from on-going pollution from decommissioned
mines on Lake Babine and fear that BKM  mine will add to problem.

Our proposed mine has more safeguards than those 2 decommissioned
mines. It would seem to me that the government could reduce opposition
by either taking measures to reduce pollution from the Noranda mines,
or force Glencore to take corrective measures.

In other words, I think the government has a carrot to offer LBN by
reducing current pollution and still approve a safe mine which will
economically benefit LBN members. Win win
