This is GREAT news ... IMO we get permit or go to court

For months BKM has been going back and forth with the EAO.

My sense is that the EAO wanted to send the ministers an accurate history of the documents and events that took place. Otherwise they would not have posted the two July 19th documents from BKM on the EPIC site.

One document is 8 pages long and the other has over 300 pages showing the entire history. It is now in black and white and so there can be little dispute over the history.

I think we are right back to 2013 when the Judge said to send the file back to the ministers. Somehow the Liberals got away with stalling for years by sending the file back to the EAO instead. My sense is that Liberal appointed deputy ministers and EAO staff then continued to delay when the Liberal lost to the NDP.

They say there is no time line. Of course they would say that. That said, if they delay for no good reason, I believe that the Judge will not be kind to the government.

I may be an optimist, that said, I think 45 days is a reasonable  time period, as if I recall correctly, this is how long the ministers typically have to make a decision on a mine permit after receiving the paperwork from the EAO.

If I'm right at 45 days, then this could be one great Christmas.

And if the NDP turn us down again, then IMO John will be at the court house soon after.

Good luck to everyone!

I concur Salmon the EAO is or sent already the 3 options to the ministers and we wanted option 2 to be assessed on all the info we have done over the years and not have to go through any more assessment so ministers will judge us on option 2 with no more assessments just like the company always wanted. I think that's what the announcement means.
