My guess on announcement date: Thursday, Jan 20th - 50% Friday, Jan 21st - 10% Thursday, Jan 27th - 30% Friday, Jan 28th - 10% Notes of interest: Political announcements that invoke negative reactions are typically made on a Friday so they get less attention over the weekend (especially long weekends). Good news events are usually announced Monday thru Thursday - just rule of thumb

Looks like it's the BC Natural Resources Forum, though it appears that's happening on the 18th. Far more interesting is the AME Roundup happening Jan 31 - Feb 3 in Vancouver. There will be government speakers on the 31st and they're going to look ridiculous talking about the opportunities for mining in the Province if they just recently turned down this mine...

I just think it's really intriguing that 5 ministers will be speaking at the Natural Resources Forum in Prince George on the morning of January 20th. The forum runs from the 18th-20th. Four of those ministers portfolios are directly impacted by the BKM permit decision (Environment, Mines, Indigenous Affairs, Jobs).  Personally, I can't think of a better forum to make a positive

Plus, the AME in Vancouver will be Jan 31 to Feb 4th. AME and PDAC are the 2 largest mining conventions in Canada. A negative decision on BKM will make the Prince George and AME rather uncomfortable for the BC gov speakers.

I agree Salmon. Given both of these conventions and specifically their timing, a negative decision on Booker would send a very negative chill into the mining community in BC, no? on a different note, could the strange trading today be explained by some computer generated "stop loss" issues?  So bizarre.

I agree , decision not in vavor of BKM wouldn't sound to great for mining in BC,  But sure doesn't explain the last few days of trading. Iv'e been in BKM for around 12 years now, and will be here until the end. It's sure had it's trying times over the years, but the reward will be worth it with EAC and mine Sold. Cheers BKM
