Feds invests $13.9M for Indigenous-led projects in mining, c
On Tuesday, Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Canada, announced that the federal government is investing $10.4 million in seven mining projects under the Indigenous Natural Resource Partnerships Program. Additionally, the government has launched the first call for proposals for the Indigenous brands through the Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund, providing up to $3.5 million in federal funding for Indigenous engagement, knowledge sharing and capacity building — relating to clean energy and transport nation projects.
