(Informed Albertan)

they get done from now till christmas or in Q1. anyone who thinks the summer was going to be busy doesn't get the business - few deals other than some small privates.

the larger companies won't sit back forever on their own inventories, as the valuations of juniors are in come cases so low that they can still do very accretive deals for the acquiror's sharehodlers.

cash offers need to be funded by those with cash (small crowd), those with access to equity capital in the market (small crowd) or those with significant cash flow and bank lines (small crowd). market isn't throwing money at anyone who buys things.

the deals that need to get done and make sense, will. those that were pitched and consummated based on poor logic but overall market momentum will be few and far between. we're all better off for that.

juniors that truly have looked in new areas, discovered significant resource, and tee'd it up for future development after derisking it still have a place in the world.
