BNP - Letter to Shareholders - August 2018

BNP - Letter to Shareholders - August 2018The purpose of this monthly letter is to bring BNP shareholders up to date, on issues and news, since the last letter.

The following is a summary of business development activities and research for this month:

  1. Marthas Vineyard Project, is progressing with two meetings planned for next month. I’ll be travelling to Michigan and Ontario, for the meetings. Ontario is transforming under the new leadership of Doug Ford.
  2. Currently started a new project called the “Nantucket Project”. This month we initiated contact, requesting 3rd party meetings. We will try to get 2-3 of the 3rd party meetings completed by the end of October. This would involve meetings in Edmonton, Burnaby, Toronto and Ottawa, in the event that we are able to move forward. Early stage: Just started this one a few weeks ago.
  3. Another project crossed my desk today, which we will call the “Cape Cod Project”. This one involves the financing and construction of a 300 unit, modular housing complex in West Texas. Early works involve talking with the municipality, Vendors and financing professionals. Rents in this area are considered “above market”, with a 3-5 year construction and drilling backlog (hotel rooms rent during peak days at $350 - $400 per night). This would be a phased project, in 25-50 unit increments. Our goal is to provide new, top quality housing accommodation for tradesmen, drillers, frackers tank farm, pipeline and construction professionals. This one could be positive enough to get our shares trading again.
  4. Planning for a meeting with one of our shareholders in September, to look at prospects in the marijuana industry. Once the industry is legalized in Canada, it will be similar to the early days of the spirits industry. This industry will have 30% - 50% annual growth, in the early years.
  5. One of our former shareholders suggested that we change the name of the company (after we close our first deal). The name will depend on the nature of the deal that we are successful in closing. Will keep everyone posted. I like the corporate names of Marthas Vineyard, Cape Cod and Nantucket, combined with the industry description.

I would like to wish our shareholders a very happy Labor Day, and encourage you to drive safely over the long weekend.
