RE:Mining Boron in SerbiaRJM,
Ibarski Rudnici holds the exploitation license to Pobrdje, License #470 and have held it for several years. This was documented by SRK when they prepared Erin's NI-43-101 Techical Report - Page 4 on July 16, 2012.
The only link that Usha Industries has to Pobrdje is they purchased some colemanite from Ibarski Rudnici years ago and that is it. Politically, Usha Industries has tried to purchase the boron deposit from the Serbs, but with no luck, as Erin is at the front of the lineup for Pobrdje, not Usha Industries, or any other Company.
The attached News Release that Erin submitted to the Ministry back on Feb 28/17, has grown some legs, so don't be surprised if Balkan Gold receives the Pobrdje mine sooner, rather than later.
My gut feeling is shortly after the announcement of the Partnership, it would make logical sense to announce Balkan Gold receiving the rights to the Pobrdje mine. This would give Erin some quick cash flow and time to train the unemployed miners out of Beljevac, located in the immediate area of the Pobrdje mine, then use miners at Piskanja after mine is built. Cheers!
