RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Why is this stock still sleepingSo you think that most of the investors that had bought during the EV pre-consolidation era would, once post 7:1 consolidation, double down and invest in the same losing stock. Let's do the math and put this to rest:
Let's say I had $100K invested pre-consolation at 10 cents (using 10 cents instead of your 20 cents suppostion so starting twice as good as your basis). So, at that pre-consolidation time, I'm holding 1M shares but only 142K share after the 7:1 consolidation.
So post-cosolidation, I start buying again at 10 cents/share (with my original 100K$ now worth (@ 10 cents/share: $14,285 - I'm in the hole by over $85K). Notwhitstanding my loss, I think this is a 5-bagger from here - this thing is going to 50 cents easy. So my initial $100K would be worth (once the SP has quintuple) about $71K. I'm still $28K or so in the hole, so I would need to buy over 71K shares at @ 10 cents (going to 50 cents) to end up even with this investment
To summarize (regardless of the original @ of shres), post consolidation I need to buy 72% of the total # of shares I owned pre-consolidation to break even when/if this stock goes up 5 times?!?!? Does this look remotlely like something a reasonable investor would do? Is this something you would consider doing ? or does this seem seem like doubling down and throwing good money after bad? Regardless and I'm repeating myself, LONG-TERM SHAREHOLDERS WILL NOT BE MAKING MONEY OFF THIS INVESTMENT. Not saying you won't but I doubt you would have followed the stink and doubled down over a 10-15 year period.
So when King Lanny states that he bought in a long time ago in 5 vents PPs, you can easily check that (1) EV has never made any PP in the 5 cents range " a long time ago" - on the contrary PPs were priced about 20 cents pre-consolidationfor the most part (or $.1.40 post-consolidation), and (2) there is no way that, once you paid that kind of $ to buy into PPs, you could ever make a profit on your investment (unless you throw huge amount of cash at this). This guy is a troll - that's the only thing I want to prove here. I'm not going to save the world but I hate trolls with a passion and this one is not very smart at what he does..
