Most of The Fools on this board are so underwater because they don't understand percentages and how to make money on the markets. If you buy a stock for a dollar and you sell it for $1.20, that's a 20 percent profit. If you buy a stock for 5 cents and sell it for 6 cents that too is a 20 percent profit.
