RE:Taken… Live and learn... this is the way I played it, do this every time. Full disclosure is that I worked for Bill Howald as an exploration geologist at Rye Patch Gold. I saw the knowledge and skill of this man first hand. Top notch IMO.
Anyway back to the BLACKROCK news and subsequent sell off. I owned the stock before the NR... but SOLD. First was the delay in the Resource that woke me up. Looking back at my 15 years as an investor, too many times I felt burned as a stock goes down after even good news... knowing Bill and his team, this was great news.
SO learned to SELL b4 a NR because experience says the share price WILL FALL. Sold all my shares at $0.93 just before the NR, The stock was hot with volume... hot air from weak hands pushed the SP up.
Now I own almost 2x shares in a great place run by honest and talented folks!!! Hold Summa too. SHOUT OUT TO Ronaldo
