Mr. Byron Coulthard reports
TRAVA 2 -- NATURAL GAS DRILLING UPDATE
BRS Resources Ltd. has been advised that the Trava 2-D exploration well, located in the southern half of Corte dei Signori permit area in the Po Valley of northern Italy, has been successfully drilled and logged to a total depth of 3,619 feet (1,103 metres).
The Trava 2-D well, with multiple reservoir targets in the prolific Pliocene-age Porto Garibaldi sand, encountered numerous gas shows during the drilling process. The well is being completed and production tests are scheduled to begin later this month.
"Everything so far indicates we have a commercially viable well, but we'll know much more after the production tests are completed," said Byron Coulthard, president and chief executive officer of BRS. "The successful drilling of Trava 2 wells confirms AleAnna's technical and operational abilities in safely executing a complex drilling operation.
"Furthermore, during the drilling phase, AleAnna encountered all the formation tops and stratigraphic markers in the well at the depths indicated from our 3-D seismic mapping, which is exciting in its own right, because it proves 3-D seismic works in the Po Valley. From our large library of 3-D seismic surveys, we have identified a number of other drillable prospects in the Po Valley."
AleAnna holds 31 exploration applications and permits for over 2.9 million acres (11,782 square kilometres) in Italy. To date, AleAnna has also amassed the largest portfolio of newly acquired 3-D geophysical data onshore in Italy and has two successful wells in final stage of production concession award.
