Changes
In the last couple of days, there was a comment that I hadn't been posting much lately. The writer said that I wasn't posting because I knew about the financing. That is false. I learned of the financing on Thursday evening, September 19th, a week ago today, from a shareholder who sent me a link to the funding page. I downloaded the financing term sheet (108 pages). It turned out that many others had a copy if this document. Dr. Rathjen contacted me about it the next day, Friday, Sept 20, and she released the news on Monday, Sept 23. It would never have been up to me release Bioasis news. That's the company's right and responsibility.

The fact is, I hadn't posted much over the past couple of weeks because of Stockhouse, itself. Stockhouse has been "upgrading" itself for the last couple of years but, in fact, it's just not working, at least not for me.

I put a lot of thought and work into my posts. I spend hours every day reading news and doing research on topics relevant to the BBB,  Bioasis and the biotech industry. When I put up a post it is almost always buried by an onslaught of posts from the you-know-whos. Because Stockhouse has taken away our ability to see individual posting histories, it's become a waste of time to post at all. Posts can't "stick" anymore. The clutter from the complainers has buried all good discussion. Overall forum readership is down, although it still appears that shareholders representing somewhere over half of the outstanding shares do read the forum.

The break I took and will continue is for the purpose of figuring out alternative methods to publicly (and privately) discuss Bioasis and, perhaps, other clients. Basically, I have no interest in having my hard work buried by the types of posts we saw in the last couple of days. Nor do I want to be further associated with people who engage in this kind of behaviour.

Discerning readers will recognize that I do not initiate these "arguments." I respond to them. I did not mention beenthere yesterday. I wasn't up in the middle of the night posting like MBT123 and MineDigger were. Nor did I even mention fuzzyjr, let alone attack him. A really dumb hockey player may cross the ice to attack an opponent, and he'll get thrown out for it. Fuzzyjr crossed the ice.  When I saw that simply ridiculous post, it was over for me. His smarmy "gtla" is laughable.

But there is a new wrinkle. This financing is bringing a major new ownership set that is very unlikely to read Stockhouse. Although it's possible that the new American investors will share interests with current investors, it shouldn't be lost on anybody that there is a possibility that they may have different interests and objectives and they may have sufficient unity to completely control shareholder voting. If they vote all their shares with united purpose then the continued apathy and negativity amongst current shareholders will allow a shift in control to that larger, more motivated voice. I'm going to assume that they share the same interests that current shareholders have, the advancement of xB3's huge potential for the benefit of all shareholders.

So with respect to Stockhouse, yesterday was the last straw. It was NOT an exception. I do not accept beenthere's apology. He and others have behaved this way for years without ever bringing anything of value to the table. With respect to Stockhouse, I'm moving on to more effective media and methods. I have registered a new domain name that will remain secret for a while. In some manner, I will make announcements in the near future.

fuzzyjr was right about me being bullied. I wouldn't fight back, not until Grade 9. This guy and his cronies cornered me in the boys' washroom. The guy gave me a push towards a stall, in front of the urinals. I made a fist behind my back. When he made a move to push me again, I let him have it with a roundhouse right to the side of his head. He went down and was out of it. His buddy made a step towards me and I drove him one in the mouth, knocking him flat on his butt in the bottom of a urinal.

When we got back to class a few moments later, the first guy's left eye was already swollen shut. The teacher asked what happened but he wouldn't answer. The teacher looked around the classroom and her eyes settled on my bright red face. She knew, and the rest of the school soon learned the story. Nothing was ever said to me about it. Today, I would be lynched, but in those days, rough justice was still considered justice. These guys had it coming and everybody knew it.

I had to fight 3 or 4 times after that. If a fight was unavoidable, my policy was to knock them down with all the strength I could muster in that first punch. I stood over them and offered my hand to help them up. To a person, they took it and I never had to deal with them again. Made a friend in one case.

The lessons are these. Always respond to injustice and bad behaviour. Somebody must because most people won't. If you have to fight, be decisive and effective. If you can, let the other guy have the last word. On Stockhouse, it is the equivalent of helping the guy back up. Even so, the less capable thinkers believe they just won a victory. I've always have to fight them again.

I'll be back in circulation very soon but not on Stockhouse. I will be starting my new internet presence from scratch, initiating a larger conversation by writing about what xB3 is, how it works and the opportunities it presents. And I will bring and discussion of it forward.

I won't generally be available from now until next week, and even then, on a limited basis in order to get this new thing underway.

So much to write about. So much potential in xB3. So many to tell it to.

See you in another place...
