RE:You want pain?Captn,
It's not where the stock price came from ,it's where it's going. Instead of buying a company based on what a chart looks like how about telling everyone what company fundamentals you like that will propell the stock going forward. Surely it's got to be something more then the share price has fallen from $500/share to where it is today and it's a recomendation you recieved from someone
Example: I told this message board a little while back to take a look at Erdene Resources. At the time the US share price was .17-.20. They had the Bayan Khundii gold deposit they were moving towards production. The deposits were some of the highest grade open pit deposits in the world. Since then the company have done a JVwith the largest mining company in Mongolia and in the next few weeks they will put out a updated pheasability study, secure funding and begin building the mill. They also jst release a new set of drilling results on the Zunn Mod Moly/copper deposit where they tested the parimeter of the current known deposit. All holes hit continued mineralization and some were as deep as 200 meters. Of greater interest was one hole 1.7 kilometers from the current deposit that also hit solid moly mineralization. More drilling is scheduled but if that 1.7 meters of undrilled open space between holes is also Moly....it's a monster deposit. Today the share price of Erdene touched .30 (us) a nice 33% gain up to this point. For full disclosure I own a lot of shares but again do your own DD and don't listen to me. If it feels right to you go for it....If not then don't.
Of course the stupid one hated the company because it was in Mongolia. The same goes true for my Entree Resources investment. Yet I'm up just shy of 200% on that investment and am looking for much more upside also.
As for Bonterra, all work activities have been basically haulted since June 5th when management pulled the drill crews out of the field due to the wildfires. No financing has been completed as of yet and the company continues to burn thru cash on management salaries. Day by day the situation gets more dire. They are running low on money and someone better come to the rescue soon or the lights are going to go out.
