I think I agree with your brainstorm with one exception. Nat Gas will get a boost from seasonal or cyclical action over the winter. If commodities aren't into an inflationary mode by say Feb or Mar then sell your BUK or other gassy plays around that time and wait for a re-entry based on signs that inflation (USD down and Gold and oil up) is starting to hit the streets...
