Today's News Release

The news today tells us that the well was drilled vertically with 4 cores recovered. Assuming that they were 60' core barrels, that would theoretically show a pay section of +/- 220' or 67m. This has the potential to flow a lot of oil. A LOT of oil. It may take awhile to learn flow results considering that the area is still on "tight hole" status as companies are looking to gain land positions in the area.

Are the cores taken from the vetical part of the well for future use.They will be drilling the horizontal in one zone only or can they perforate and frac the vertical zones as well. I thought the license wou ld be to one zone only. You sound knowlegable could you explain also why you think they would be 60 foot cores. Thanks

--sorry for the failure in the previous post--The vertical section of drilled and cored hole was sacrificial and cannot be fractured. When the vertical section was drilled and cored to final depth, they would have then came up the hole to well above the pay section to run a cement plug, usually mixed with some sand in it to make it harder. Thanks for the info,I really think this area is going to go wild in the next couple of years and this little stock is going to be a real money maker for alot of people. To many big guys around and that is a good sign.When we start getting results we will be happy campers,thanks again.

Sonny, any idea what it cost to core at this depth?  per foot or per 60ft section of core?thks

Core costs? By the meter probably, plus supervision costs. Unsure of rates but you could call someone like Baker for a price and they may tell you.
