pokinfun, You're such a blessed soul to have found iluv2buyem, team Europe, and of course Banyan. 6 cents, I presume you mean Canadian, was a great entry. $.0045, when they alerted Stockhouse, became the rallying cry of all who follow the prognostications set out. I'm curious, they called 1 Million oz in the ground when Banyan declared 300,000, they next called 3Million oz, then Banyan ...more

Did you trip on the Banyan Gold project pokinfun? That's intensive d.d. Me thinks you been poked in the head 1 time too many. My comment applied only to the news release nothing more nothing less.  You called it a good drill result which it wasn't.  Given this drill hole is suppose to be the highlight of 37 holes not so good.  Needless to say given the SP the market felt the same way.  I am not saying the drill results were ugly just did not ...more

Pokin While I know you were joking but some GIC is not a bad idea for some.  Personally, I deploy all funds between trades on a dailing interest account at one of my brokers for 3.8%.  At any given time I might have 2-300k not deployed so rather than have that amount not deployed for say 2-3 weeks here and there might as well collect 3 plus thousand while on the sideline for say 3 months ...more

My friends and I talked about that strategy for holding hockey pool funds :) It's a good one. I don't use it with this. I'm not saying it's a bad strategy, but I still don't go to cash. My cash is selling from one to the other when I want to buy more of something, or something new. Hopefully risk is suitably spread--i repeat hopefully lol, so that even when the market is ...more

Really it comes down to 2-3 weeks or right away. I know it's not all our money we're talking about, just what we're rebalancing.
