Me thinks you been poked in the head 1 time too many. Pokin While I know you were joking but some GIC is not a bad idea for some.  Personally, I deploy all funds between trades on a dailing interest account at one of my brokers for 3.8%.  At any given time I might have 2-300k not deployed so rather than have that amount not deployed for say 2-3 weeks here and there might as well collect 3 plus thousand while on the sideline for say 3 months
