RE: RE: while they may support the US dollar there may be people like taylor who see or dream of someone or some thing coming to the dollar's rescue but for the life of me i don't know what that will be. i think he is talking his book.in the past it has not been smart to bet against the US economy but that was the past. america is fast becoming a laughing stock. the rest of the world is tired of hearing how america needs to lead the world, how they are the greatest nation on earth, blah , blah ,blah,,,,blahblahblah. they are now in a death spiral and are the only ones who don't see it. china is about to take over japan for the # 2 economy in the world and has 100,000,000 people consuming goods now and the # is growing. the rest of asia minus japan is in growth mode already and the EU is more responsible monetarily. there is a lot of you call it noise i call it truth and it is mostly negative for the greenback . america will lagg badly in this recovery and they will finaly learn the world does just fine without their leadership. the only reasons the dollar is not lower is that # 1) china can't dump all their dollars right away . #2) everyone is bearish on it so contrarians push it up on the logic that there is no one left selling it but that only lasts a day or two . it is just like the market , when you have 97% of traders going one way it's time to go the other way and #3) the bond vigilanties threatening to push up rates if the government does'nt get their act together. the US dollar is even to a little guy like me quite obviously dying. they have nothing left to sell but their debt
