Rethinking the past........year

Rethinking the past........yearGeez,  I've been browsing the boards and started chuckling to myself because it was like somehow dejavue( need spck) , in that,  I recall this exact same conversing started to occur at this exact same time last year when the results seemed to be delayed.   So,  for your entertainment on this board while we wait,  I went back into time and did a little digging..........play it Sam...........

Aug 24th,  2010.......brahmabultz said..........$1.85, who is selling below the PP price......arrrrr

Aug 26th,  2010......Touareg said ...........2 + 2 = Somethings' Up!   I would like to include this entire worthy post here as stated on this date by our own Mr. Touareg.............

 See a pattern emerging..

The icebergs that coldgin mentions are a clue..
We've had high expectations but really very little news..
That situation generally causes weakness in a stock.. as you would expect..
But not here.. since earlier in the year we had a strong move from the 1.40s to the 1.80s
Weve just had another strong move from the 1.80s to the 2.30s
A string of new all time highs..
The best results reported so far have been Tiger infills and they only caused a blip..
As to be expected that didnt cause any move in price..
And dont forget the dissapointing results from the east zone hardly did any damage at all..

I am sometimes sceptical of reports of iceberg buying and how meaningfull that may be..
But connecting the dots and taking recent trading into account and the facts from above I am now convinced there is a lot more behind this recent move than simply the Yukon/White gold situation heating up and the seasonal return to business as usual..

So Tim.. 'fraid i have to disagree on that one.. but another point you make is very central to figuring out this puzzle.. I did the same as you just recently.. precisely because about 1 - 2 weeks ago the situation was starting to look questionable.. we werent getting any of the much anticipated news.. people were posting on here saying "keep the faith" (and how right they were!!).. but why were they saying that?.. because it appeared like a situation where a stock goes down.. I was thinking it may drop to 1.60 - 1.40 and because I have free shares it made perfect sense for me to take a little off the table.. no problem there.. but the point is that as coldgin points out that is exactely how the recent buyers have been accumulating a lot of shares.. when youve made good profits already selling a few at highs is prudent imo.. and there are many who have made huge profits on Atac already because it has gone from 8 cents to 2.40 in 18 months.. So expecting a retracement a week or two ago was not bad judgement..

But quite the reverse is what happened.. and on no news..

Starting to see the pattern?

Gosh how many times do we read posts on these boards that say "Somethin's up!!"
We'll when you put 2 and 2 together in this situation I think you get exactely that.. so I'm gonna say it:

Somethin's up boys and girls..

So then i ask myself the question: Would Tiger step-outs create this kind of serious buying or could it be the thing we've all been really hoping for: A serious hit at one of the other targets.. i know i said tiger step-outs were top priority but would that effect the share price in the way we have seen the last few days?
I have a feeling that it is more likely to be one of the other targets..

So then I wonder which one....

Osiris is something like 100ks into the wilderness.. all the other places the are drilling are in the cat zone area within 15ks of Tiger.. Mmm.. They took a drill all that way up there.. and they said it was very similar geology to Carlin.. Mmmm..

Just pondering ;)

Well,  good pondering it was,  Mr.  Touareg and so worth the wait.

On Sept 1,  Coldgin stated..........hey,  $3.55, up 33% and asks are dry........

well,  that was the last we seen of $3.55 and so while we relive a year ago and ponder,  perhaps we should ask ourselves ........hmm,  2 + 2 = what!

Cheers!
