Very quiet now, we are resigned to the buyout then?

So, most of us are going to roll with Hecla and wait until it goes up high enough to recoup our losses on ATAC?

The gameplan is to bolt at break-even with HL and then just see if Cascadia pans out as the last remaining vestiage with ties to ATAC?

Hecla may be something special in a few decades with their buying up Yukon assets, but it is going to be a long........LONG time before they are rocking.  You're literally at the bottom right now with them and their piddly half-cent quarterly dividend.  And, how can they justify a 100+ year old company and their dividend is still that low?!

And where is Victoria this whole while?  Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!!  They won't make a counterbid because we called their bluff?  Too bad Victoria didn't suck up their pride and get a bidding war going.  Now, they get to sit back and watch the interloper get all that high-grade gold in their own backyard!!

Late 2nd qtr is when the vote is cast. It is not a done deal as yet. Over a month and a half for some one to make a better offerCould well happen if gold starts to head well above $2k, for which there seems to be a lot of expectations out there..

76,800 shares traded today on the alternate exchanges. A big round zero on the Venture. Closing price 14.5 cents. Does that suggest most everyone is now comfortable where they sit and it's a matter of waiting for the deal to close.?

I hope it is a done deal otherwise get ready to take a 50% haircut.

Sudden surge on trading volume? I see no comments. Is this just a reaction to the price of gold or has someone heard something re negotiations?

No action on here. Has everyone left? Just sell and take their 14 cents and run to greener pastures. The stock is sitting as a dead issue. According to this press release excerpt it will likely remain that way until the end of June -- and how long after that -- with what in the future? "ATAC will make further announcements regarding the Meeting and closing of the Transaction, which are ...more

I'm not worried about when any vote occurs.  I will still vote no for the folllowing reason: ATAC's press release on 2/21/23 indicated that we would be getting 14 cents CAD per share of HL in a buyout.  Hecla's share price on the date of announcement was $6.84 CAD.  This would indicate that we were supposed to get 0.02 shares of HL per share of ATAC if you divide .14 by ...more

Below I believe are the pertinent phrases from the two news releases. They are virtually the same in their reference to a $31M value in Hecla shares equalling a value of 14 cents for ATAC shares. The difference being that in the second news release they have entered a "Definitive" Agreement as opposed to a "non-binding LOI" and, the "Consideration", as you pointed out ...more

In a nutshell, you are correct for those having 6 figures or more in the number of shares.  For every 100,000 shares of ATAC you own, you will now get about 333 share less or HL, or about $1,800 USD less based on current HL trading values. If you own 1 million shares, you just took an $18k haircut.  That's not chump change, and although I don't own 7 figures, I do own shares in ...more

I assume part of the problem is that the first go around was just a "Letter of Intent" so nothing definitely defined in real terms. The second go around was the "Definitive Agreement" where the characteristics were similarly defined but the actual share price definition was nailed down to real terms. That's on the Company negotiators I guess. At this point it is likely a ...more

Still over a month for another suitor (or even Victoria) to come to their senses and steal away Rackla. Any major out there can have us for literally a song at this point.  The bar has been set so VERY LOW.   For AEM or NEM to acquire us would be the equivalent of a rounding error on their financials.  They could squirrel us away in their inventory at today's low prices ...more

The silver miner offered about 40 percent more than victoria.  So Victoria now would have to up their original offer 50 plus percent and pay the million plus cash break fee.
