Dividend cut day???

So... If I buy today am I eligible for the dividend? Or is only for the people own shares at Nov 08;

They are not giving you something for nothing.  They can reduce the numer of shares outstanding: it is still the same company. You'll have less shares but they will be worth more per share. Overall value of the shares outstanding  shd still be the same. They can change the name of the company: it is still the same company.   They can issue a special divident to ...more
