They can reduce the numer of shares outstanding: it is still the same company. You'll have less shares but they will be worth more per share. Overall value of the shares outstanding shd still be the same.
They can change the name of the company: it is still the same company.
They can issue a special divident to shareholders as of a certain date with the approval of majority of shareholders. If the dividend is paid, the shares immediately lose a similar amount of value as the dividend paid out. You don't get someting for nothing.
