RE: Mt. Kellett

RE: Mt. Kellett The weak share prices are the result of the markets for sure. The existing management team has proven to be competent. The Mount Kellet people are not attacking the mining expertise of the staff or blaming the low share price on managment or the board. They have identified a number of areas of concern in the governance structure that should be changed. Mount Kellet are only asking for a minority position as independent board members. Having the interests of shareholders represented by independent board members is a good thing and fixing those governance issues is in the best interest of all shareholders. Baja has only one project that is totally funded. This is not a distress situation were Mr. Kellet is coming in to break up the company and sell off pieces or coming in to shake up the project. The project has been thoroughly planned out and financed and is well advanced and on schedule and on budget. They are not going to mess with that. Their aim is to fix the governance problems. They are going to be in there to protect the stake they have in Baja and in so doing will be protecting the interests of all shareholders. A fresh pair of experienced financial people at this stage will be an added benefit.
