RE:Chat about CRMI have extensive personal experience with CRMs. The idea that a specific laboratory would always require a CRM of identical form as it previously used is incorrect. Each batch of a CRM has to undergo the certification process because it will differ in some ways than the batch that came before it, even if it is from the same source. It is the certificate itself that is important, because it precisely specifies the concentration of a specific analyte, allowing the measuring laboratory to calibrate its devices. It does not have to be the same as the last time, it merely needs to be the same as the CRM.
Here is the CoA for what I believe to be the purest graphite CRM available prior to the release of another based on the Miller thermally purified graphite. Just look at the detail, the number of laboratories involved, the statistics.....It's a lot of work, and it takes substantial time.
BAM S009 CoA The company still has a few tonnes of concentrate produced during the 2014 pilot plant campaign, so your friend should not worry about continuity of supply, in any case. You know, the fact that the company drilled many holes, and took and crushed a bulk sample, all of it years before you guys claim that you knew anything about the project, begs a question. If this work was not detected by its neighbours back then, why would similar work disturb them now? Just a question.
