Aside from that, I was traveling through towns just outside of GSLR the other day and I noticed that kilometers of the green belt was removed beside roads and highways. Trees cut, plants destroyed...the whole nine yards! I was thinking where's Alex?! He flips out over a mine that is no more than a couple hundred metres long and yet when the forest is cleared for roads, stores, residential areas etc within or near GSLR, theres not a peep. The trouble with Alex's warped understanding is that there is no stable and clean environment when that happens and its PERMANENT. His fetish with trees would be shattered because once they are gone, they are gone. With CCB, the mine will open and once completed, thousands of trees will be replanted for future generations. Alex only cares about himself and his friend St. Pierre the maple guy. That's it. If he cared about GSLR, he would be up in arms over any development where greenery is removed forever. Plain and simple.
