RE:RE:Amended Operating Permit

RE:RE:Amended Operating PermitYes i was glad to see the speed that EMLI issued the operating permit update... to get it done in one month is quite amazing!.
But i believe that it probably has to do with the decision of the BC gov't that was announced just last week that they have halted the Proposed Land Act Amendments.
RE:
https://www.mining.com/british-columbia-will-not-proceed-with-proposed-amendments-to-the-land-act-minister-says/

In particular i agreed with the second last paragraph "The AME supports the government’s commitment to the implementation of DRIPA,” Jutla said. “We know that our members also support this goal, but the way the changes were introduced fostered an environment of distrust and uncertainty. This is not an environment that is conducive to building partnerships and economic reconciliation.”

So i believe this was the right decision at this time and we need a good and fair balance from all sides to work together and not have people with chips on their shoulders or revenge minded. I am glad that they took a pause to reset and move ahead in a manner that is fair for all in the future. I think it is in all of our best interests to move resource based programs ahead that the world needs. We all just need to work together in everyhing we do. ALL Canadians working together is a strong winning formula i would say!
