tradeforever no need for paranoia

at least not at this point.
I presume that you read the press release from GWR. But from your posts I deduce that English is not your first language. Perhaps you missed some detailss.
1. GWR states that they await approval from CDO....................so why do you expect CDO to announce a deal when they are contemplating final approval? They normally would not announce it until they deal is a sure thing.
2. CDO has no money (except the money GWR gave them as a down payment)................ and is too low priced to raise money.................unless you want them to go to Mineral Fields again..............but they have assets in their claims..............................................................................They have no choice but to sell claims to raise money................and they can only sell claims that someone else wants..............................you want a miracle where they sell nothing, have no money (but have >$300,000 in debt) and you want them to discover what? gold? Diamonds?
3. The GWR release states that they are involved in special scrutiny because Shives is involved with both companies..................the regulators will look at the deal closer because of this to insure it is honest.................................When there is an obvious conflict that will certainly cause regulators to look twice, Shives would be a fool to be acting in conflict of interest..............I bet he did not vote on the deal to make sure he is not sued.
4. I understand why you are upset, but at least recognize that this deal will give CDO enough money to actually function and even be able to pay for a press release...............as well as do some exploration. Change is coming as I hear Reed wants out and Bernard no longer has those shares he sold, does he?..........everyone complains he sold them............Until CDO does a deal, the company is in a hole........with lots of debt and no cash........You and others rightly complain about that, but you NOW also complain when they do something to get out of the hole................... Don't you want a chance to get back at least some of your investment?...............there is no alternative to sell properties if there are those willing to pay for them. Then they can pay new and real management and become a real exploration company and not a property-holding pump & dump operation.

Well, finally a reasonable reply to my 'hate'-posts.I understand your points.Nevertheless one thing: This board has been talking often about new 'investors' at CDO. As much as I notice, those investor (if) are just interested in buying dumped shares.....insteed to support CDO. So, those new 'investor', in my opinion, are not interested at all in the explorer CDO but in a ...more

PS.Yes, I like if CDO clears its property portfolio and reduce the number of those properties. In this case cash can be invested in reasonable drills. But I do not like if q sqezze out is going on at CDO. Thus, to me it is very strange that GWQ is the first whom a property is sold, while they had tro fight for those properties years before as Bernard did know what he bought for CDO ! I am still ...more

Lars Glimhagen, Chief Financial Officer ..............finally, without CDO publishes the result of the AGM months ago, shareholder get told - as a little side note at the news release - who is the CFO of our company. Thank you, Reed, for this first drop. Can we expect to receive the funtctions of the other directors? We are already happy if we receive it by and by within next 12 months. Thank you.

Trader - are you suggesting the CFO of CDO is Lars Glimhagen - that would be exceedingly odd since GWR Resources clearly lists him as being the CFO of their company?!?!?
Comment by trader4ever on Sep 30, 2011 12:56pm
rardar, even I do not like you at all.......I am fair enough to statre, that this confirms: the cake CDO will be cutted into pieces for GWQ, that could end in a squezze out by GWQ. If the new directors of CDO, which are also directors of GWQ, squezze out CDO, they have a great chance also to fill their wallets with additional salaries payed by CDO......a double plus for them !Directly said, I hope ...more

Trader, the CFO is your old friend Rene, Kirk is still CEO because they'll have problems with Shives leading both companies with such close relations so he's just a director in the board, as well as the two geologists. As far as a budget for the money, I asked Kirk. They'll be using about half of it to pay off current debts, the rest will be used to analyze the Man Prime cores in order ...more

I have to apologize! I mixed the news release of GWQ(signed by the CFO of GWQ) with the one of CDO. (BTW, my former friendship with Rene Bernard is "cancelled"...too late as I regret as I would have saved some hundreds of thousands of $)

A few years back I was told that Kirk Reed was Rene Bernards son in law, can anybody else confirm this.

Your source must have been stoned.
