Chen LinPan Orient Energy Corp. (POE.v) also released quarterly results. If you look into the details, it is actually very positive. It seems finally find a technology to solve the water issue in the Thailand oil field. Since the discovery of the oil field in 2007(you can see the huge pike of the stock price then). It always had water issue. Initial wells produced a few thousand bpd, but in a few short months, water completely overran the oil. Now after 4 years of experimenting, the company believe that they have found a good way to deal with the water issue, basically they use ICD with horizontal well drilling. Initial results were very good and the company is confident that they will produce at least 300 bpd (net, 500 gross) in the last 5 wells. Right now they are producing 2000 bpd, these wells can double the production by the end of the year. You can calculate the numbers from report. They have cashflow from operation 23c last quarter, basically running at about 1 dollar/year in cashflow at 2000 bpd. It has 58 million cash in the bank, 57 million shares outstanding, basically 1 dollar cash per share. This is not including equipment they just purchased for 12 million. Just on their existing production, if the can double the production, they are trading at 1 time cashflow. And this is a 2 dollar stock with 1 dollar cash. This is way too cheap. I feel it is the "Black Friday" sale that you don't have to wait in line or get pepper sprayed. I talked to the CEO Jeff Chisholm while waiting for my Turkey dinner. He seems to be very excited. He told me that their Thailand production finally hit a solid bottom and they have a few important wells to be drilled in the next a few months. 2 wells in Thailand in their new 100% concession, 3 wells in Indonesia with first to be spudded in early December, the future couldn't be better. I think after 4 years of waiting and preparation, the moment is finally here. I added more and move it to my second largest energy position behind Mart Resources Inc. (MMT.v). We may have some tax loss selling in the next a few weeks, that will be excellent buying opportunities I believe and am planning to add more on any weakness.
