My guess is the on-lapping section of the “thick apron” in the lower Talang is a continuation of what they already found. The fact they wasted no time discussing other options feels like a confirmation.
The Talang Akar was mentioned on slide 14 as “Recent 2D reprocessing indicates a thick LTAF sand and shale sequence overlying basement with a max structural closure of 188km in areal extend”
